Soon, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey. When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available soon via email!
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at

Waiting on Final Art! Almost There!

Dear Backers,
Just a quick update because it's been a while since you've heard from us. Three out of the four artists featured in Doctor Zomba's Ghostly Tales have turned in their completed art, and their pages all look spectacular!
I'm currently waiting on the final handful of pages from the fourth artist, who recently suffered a loss, and they are working hard to make up for lost time and complete them.
What this means is that we may deliver the book slightly later than our target date of Halloween, but rest assured, it is coming, and it will be well worth the wait!

Thanks to all 124 of you I am happy to announce that Doctor Zomba’s Ghostly Tales is now successfully funded and will be coming your way this October in time for Halloween.
I am deeply grateful to each and everyone of you for your support and I can’t wait to share this book with you. You made this my most backed non-Tinseltown Kickstarter, and I know you’re gonna love the book you helped bring to life.
You’ll have a survey coming your way, but you won’t be hearing from us for a while. We’ll be getting the final pages of the book done and lettered and ready to print. If you have any questions along the way, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Meanwhile, if you know anyone that might be interested in Ghostly Tales but didn’t back in time, late backing is enabled. That means they can still back the project, for most levels. It’ll cost them a buck or two more, but they can still do it.

New Add-ons! Doctor Zomba's Fright Certificate! Hyaena Horror Market!

As we head into the final 3 days of the now fully funded Doctor Zomba's Ghostly Tales campaign, now is a good time to take a look at some add-ons I recently added to the campaign:
Cthulhu is Hard to Spell: The Terrible Twos is a hardcover anthology contains thirty-eight all-ages appropriate stories from 73 creators about the gods and monsters of the Lovecraft universe, including "The Old Gods Ain't What They Used to Be," by David Lucarelli and Tinseltown artist Henry Ponciano. Yes, there is horror, but there are also silly stories, funny stories, sci-fi stories, whimsical stories, and slice-of-life stories as well. The focus is on the gods and monsters themselves, with plenty of psychological and cosmic horror thrown into the mix, too. Signed by David Lucarelli.

Fractured Scary Tales #7 features a humorous Where's Waldo and werewolf mashup called "Were-Waldo?" by David Lucarelli and artist Shane George. The book is 42 pages of black and white art and 8 hilariously scary comic shorts by various creative teams. Lots of terrible puns and monster mayhem.
Finally, if you love horror comics, The Children's Vampire Hunting Brigade is a coming of age Gothic adventure, a punk rock Buffy set in Scotland inspired by the real life Gorbals Vampire Incident by David Lucarelli and Henry Ponciano. Volume 1 is available by itself, or you can get the entire three volume set in a limited edition slip case along with some additional unreleased art.

Ghostly Tales is Fully Funded! Stretch Goals Revealed!

Thanks to 109 of you marvelous backers, I woke up this morning to find that Doctor Zomba's Ghostly Tales is now fully funded with 6 days to go! So, that means it's time to reveal...
STRETCH GOALS!
We're less than $100 away from unlocking a virtual version of the Doctor Zomba's Roll the Bones Monster Dice Game! You can still add-on the physical game with cardboard dice to print out and assemble for only 10 bucks, but this is the next best thing!
Our next stretch goal is a postcard flyer for all physical backers from the show that started it all, Doctor Zomba's Ghost Show of Terror!
Next up, we have an Official Certificate you can sign declaring that Doctor Zomba and Abcab Studios are not legally responsible if reading Doctor Zomba's Ghostly Tales scares you to death! I know, we probably should have everyone sign this certificate whether we hit this goal or not, but hey, we like to live dangerously!
Finally, the mysterious final stretch goal to be unlocked when we hit all of the above previous ones! You didn't think we'd reveal everything did you? What fun would that be?
